बेंगलुरु में अब सार्वजनिक परिवहन को और अधिक हरित और स्मार्ट बनाने की दिशा में एक बड़ा कदम उठाया गया है। Tata EV bus की डिलीवरी का नया चरण शुरू हो गया है। Tata Motors ने बेंगलुरु मेट्रोपॉलिटन ट्रांसपोर्ट कॉर्पोरेशन (BMTC) को 148 Tata Starbus इलेक्ट्रिक बसों की डिलीवरी शुरू कर दी है। यह कदम शहर की पहले से ही मौजूद 921 इलेक्ट्रिक बसों के बेड़े को और मजबूत बनाएगा।

कर्नाटक के परिवहन मंत्री रामलिंगा रेड्डी और BMTC के मैनेजिंग डायरेक्टर रामचंद्रन आर. (IAS) ने इन नई Tata EV buses को हरी झंडी दिखाई। इस अवसर पर अन्य वरिष्ठ सरकारी अधिकारी और BMTC के सदस्य भी मौजूद थे। Tata Motors की यह डिलीवरी शहर के लिए टिकाऊ और साफ-सुथरे सार्वजनिक परिवहन की दिशा में एक अहम योगदान है।
Tata EV bus का संचालन और रख-रखाव Tata Motors की सहायक कंपनी TML Smart City Mobility Solutions Ltd. द्वारा अगले 12 वर्षों तक किया जाएगा। कंपनी का कहना है कि उनके इलेक्ट्रिक बसों ने अब तक शहर में कुल मिलाकर छह करोड़ किलोमीटर की दूरी तय की है, जो उनकी कार्यक्षमता और विश्वसनीयता को दर्शाता है।
Tata Motors के वाइस प्रेसिडेंट आनंद एस. ने कहा, “BMTC के साथ हमारा सहयोग हमेशा समय पर डिलीवरी, एडवांस टेक्नोलॉजी और स्थायी सेवा पर आधारित रहा है। हमारी Tata EV buses ना सिर्फ यात्रियों को आरामदायक और सुरक्षित सफर देती हैं, बल्कि पर्यावरण के लिए भी अनुकूल हैं।”
इन Tata EV bus मॉडल्स में आधुनिक इलेक्ट्रिक ड्राइवट्रेन, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक स्टेबिलिटी कंट्रोल, ब्रेक डिस्ट्रीब्यूशन सिस्टम और कनेक्टेड ट्रांसपोर्ट फीचर्स दिए गए हैं। लो-फ्लोर डिज़ाइन और 35-सीटर क्षमता के साथ यह बसें विशेष रूप से शहरी परिवहन के लिए बनाई गई हैं। इनके शून्य टेलपाइप उत्सर्जन से बेंगलुरु की हवा और भी स्वच्छ बनने की उम्मीद है।
इस डिलीवरी के साथ Tata Motors ने एक बार फिर यह साबित कर दिया है कि Tata EV bus भविष्य का पब्लिक ट्रांसपोर्ट है – स्मार्ट, सस्टेनेबल और सस्ती।
